What does a mobile battery call-out cost?
One rule: you know the full price before the van moves. The quote is itemised — call-out, battery by exact type if you need one, any out-of-hours supplement — and the invoice matches the quote. The quote itself costs nothing.
How the price is built
| Item | How it's priced | Indicative range |
|---|---|---|
| Call-out + on-site test & diagnosis | Fixed for your area, quoted on the call | À COMPLÉTER |
| Jump-start / controlled boost | Included in the call-out where boosting is the fix | À COMPLÉTER |
| New battery — standard | By exact specification (capacity / CCA) | À COMPLÉTER |
| New battery — EFB (Start-Stop) | By exact specification | À COMPLÉTER |
| New battery — AGM (Start-Stop / premium) | By exact specification | À COMPLÉTER |
| Fitting, BMS registration, recycling of the old unit | Included with a battery | included |
| Night (22:00–07:00), Sunday & holiday supplement | Fixed, always announced on the call | À COMPLÉTER |
Exact figures are being finalised for publication; until then every price is quoted individually on the phone — in writing by SMS on request — before we set off.
Why ranges rather than one flat price?
Because one flat price for the whole of France would be a lie in both directions — subsidised in Paris, padded in the countryside. The honest version: a fixed call-out for your area, a battery priced by its exact specification, and supplements that are announced, not discovered.
Insurance, plainly: you receive a fully itemised invoice (date, location, work, parts, labour). Many breakdown and travel policies reimburse some or all of a battery call-out — whether yours does depends on your contract, and we make no promise beyond the paperwork being right. How claims work: breakdown cover in France.
Payment
Card or contactless at the car, day and night. The invoice is in English, doubles as your battery-warranty document, and is emailed as PDF if you prefer.
